In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Fix null check for pipe_ctx->plane_state in resource_build_scaling_params Null pointer dereference issue could occur when pipe_ctx->plane_state is null. The fix adds a check to ensure 'pipe_ctx->plane_state' is not null before accessing. This prevents a null pointer dereference. Found by code review. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: qcom: uefisecapp: fix efivars registration race Since the conversion to using the TZ allocator, the efivars service is registered before the memory pool has been allocated, something which can lead to a NULL-pointer dereference in case of a racing EFI variable access. Make sure that all resources have been set up before registering the efivars.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched: address a potential NULL pointer dereference in the GRED scheduler. If kzalloc in gred_init returns a NULL pointer, the code follows the error handling path, invoking gred_destroy. This, in turn, calls gred_offload, where memset could receive a NULL pointer as input, potentially leading to a kernel crash. When table->opt is NULL in gred_init(), gred_change_table_def() is not called yet, so it is not necessary to call ->ndo_setup_tc() in gred_offload().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: fix missing .is_two_pixels_per_container Starting from 6.11, AMDGPU driver, while being loaded with amdgpu.dc=1, due to lack of .is_two_pixels_per_container function in dce60_tg_funcs, causes a NULL pointer dereference on PCs with old GPUs, such as R9 280X. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Reject Hyper-V's SEND_IPI hypercalls if local APIC isn't in-kernel Advertise support for Hyper-V's SEND_IPI and SEND_IPI_EX hypercalls if and only if the local API is emulated/virtualized by KVM, and explicitly reject said hypercalls if the local APIC is emulated in userspace, i.e. don't rely on userspace to opt-in to KVM_CAP_HYPERV_ENFORCE_CPUID. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: sysctl: cookie_hmac_alg: avoid using current->nsproxy As mentioned in a previous commit of this series, using the 'net' structure via 'current' is not recommended for different reasons: - Inconsistency: getting info from the reader's/writer's netns vs only from the opener's netns. - current->nsproxy can be NULL in some cases, resulting in an 'Oops' (null-ptr-deref), e.g. when the current task is exiting, as spotted by syzbot [1] using acct(2). The 'net' structure can be obtained from the table->data using container_of(). Note that table->data could also be used directly, as this is the only member needed from the 'net' structure, but that would increase the size of this fix, to use '*data' everywhere 'net->sctp.sctp_hmac_alg' is used.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: regulator: dummy: force synchronous probing Sometimes I get a NULL pointer dereference at boot time in kobject_get() with the following call stack: anatop_regulator_probe() devm_regulator_register() regulator_register() regulator_resolve_supply() kobject_get() By placing some extra BUG_ON() statements I could verify that this is raised because probing of the 'dummy' regulator driver is not completed ('dummy_regulator_rdev' is still NULL). In the JTAG debugger I can see that dummy_regulator_probe() and anatop_regulator_probe() can be run by different kernel threads (kworker/u4:*). I haven't further investigated whether this can be changed or if there are other possibilities to force synchronization between these two probe routines. On the other hand I don't expect much boot time penalty by probing the 'dummy' regulator synchronously.
