An issue was discovered in netplex json-smart-v1 through 2015-10-23 and json-smart-v2 through 2.4. An exception is thrown from a function, but it is not caught, as demonstrated by NumberFormatException. When it is not caught, it may cause programs using the library to crash or expose sensitive information.
CVE-2021-23926 4 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 1 more 7 Xmlbeans, Debian Linux, Oncommand Unified Manager Core Package and 4 more 2024-11-21 6.4 MEDIUM 9.1 CRITICAL
The XML parsers used by XMLBeans up to version 2.6.0 did not set the properties needed to protect the user from malicious XML input. Vulnerabilities include possibilities for XML Entity Expansion attacks. Affects XMLBeans up to and including v2.6.0.
CVE-2021-23841 7 Apple, Debian, Netapp and 4 more 23 Ipados, Iphone Os, Macos and 20 more 2024-11-21 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
The OpenSSL public API function X509_issuer_and_serial_hash() attempts to create a unique hash value based on the issuer and serial number data contained within an X509 certificate. However it fails to correctly handle any errors that may occur while parsing the issuer field (which might occur if the issuer field is maliciously constructed). This may subsequently result in a NULL pointer deref and a crash leading to a potential denial of service attack. The function X509_issuer_and_serial_hash() is never directly called by OpenSSL itself so applications are only vulnerable if they use this function directly and they use it on certificates that may have been obtained from untrusted sources. OpenSSL versions 1.1.1i and below are affected by this issue. Users of these versions should upgrade to OpenSSL 1.1.1j. OpenSSL versions 1.0.2x and below are affected by this issue. However OpenSSL 1.0.2 is out of support and no longer receiving public updates. Premium support customers of OpenSSL 1.0.2 should upgrade to 1.0.2y. Other users should upgrade to 1.1.1j. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1j (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1i). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2y (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2x).
CVE-2021-23337 4 Lodash, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more 23 Lodash, Active Iq Unified Manager, Cloud Manager and 20 more 2024-11-21 6.5 MEDIUM 7.2 HIGH
Lodash versions prior to 4.17.21 are vulnerable to Command Injection via the template function.
CVE-2021-22947 8 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 34 Macos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 31 more 2024-11-21 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
When curl >= 7.20.0 and <= 7.78.0 connects to an IMAP or POP3 server to retrieve data using STARTTLS to upgrade to TLS security, the server can respond and send back multiple responses at once that curl caches. curl would then upgrade to TLS but not flush the in-queue of cached responses but instead continue using and trustingthe responses it got *before* the TLS handshake as if they were authenticated.Using this flaw, it allows a Man-In-The-Middle attacker to first inject the fake responses, then pass-through the TLS traffic from the legitimate server and trick curl into sending data back to the user thinking the attacker's injected data comes from the TLS-protected server.
CVE-2021-22946 8 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 37 Macos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 34 more 2024-11-21 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
A user can tell curl >= 7.20.0 and <= 7.78.0 to require a successful upgrade to TLS when speaking to an IMAP, POP3 or FTP server (`--ssl-reqd` on the command line or`CURLOPT_USE_SSL` set to `CURLUSESSL_CONTROL` or `CURLUSESSL_ALL` withlibcurl). This requirement could be bypassed if the server would return a properly crafted but perfectly legitimate response. This flaw would then make curl silently continue its operations **withoutTLS** contrary to the instructions and expectations, exposing possibly sensitive data in clear text over the network.
CVE-2021-22940 5 Debian, Netapp, Nodejs and 2 more 7 Debian Linux, Nextgen Api, Node.js and 4 more 2024-11-21 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Node.js before 16.6.1, 14.17.5, and 12.22.5 is vulnerable to a use after free attack where an attacker might be able to exploit the memory corruption, to change process behavior.
CVE-2021-22939 5 Debian, Netapp, Nodejs and 2 more 8 Debian Linux, Nextgen Api, Node.js and 5 more 2024-11-21 5.0 MEDIUM 5.3 MEDIUM
If the Node.js https API was used incorrectly and "undefined" was in passed for the "rejectUnauthorized" parameter, no error was returned and connections to servers with an expired certificate would have been accepted.
CVE-2021-22931 4 Netapp, Nodejs, Oracle and 1 more 10 Active Iq Unified Manager, Nextgen Api, Oncommand Insight and 7 more 2024-11-21 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
Node.js before 16.6.0, 14.17.4, and 12.22.4 is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution, XSS, Application crashes due to missing input validation of host names returned by Domain Name Servers in Node.js dns library which can lead to output of wrong hostnames (leading to Domain Hijacking) and injection vulnerabilities in applications using the library.
CVE-2021-22926 5 Haxx, Netapp, Oracle and 2 more 26 Curl, Active Iq Unified Manager, Clustered Data Ontap and 23 more 2024-11-21 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
libcurl-using applications can ask for a specific client certificate to be used in a transfer. This is done with the `CURLOPT_SSLCERT` option (`--cert` with the command line tool). When libcurl is built to use the macOS native TLS library Secure Transport, an application can ask for the client certificate by name or with a file name - using the same option. If the name exists as a file, it will be used instead of by name.If the appliction runs with a current working directory that is writable by other users (like `/tmp`), a malicious user can create a file name with the same name as the app wants to use by name, and thereby trick the application to use the file based cert instead of the one referred to by name making libcurl send the wrong client certificate in the TLS connection handshake.
CVE-2021-22925 7 Apple, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 4 more 27 Mac Os X, Macos, Fedora and 24 more 2024-11-21 5.0 MEDIUM 5.3 MEDIUM
curl supports the `-t` command line option, known as `CURLOPT_TELNETOPTIONS`in libcurl. This rarely used option is used to send variable=content pairs toTELNET servers.Due to flaw in the option parser for sending `NEW_ENV` variables, libcurlcould be made to pass on uninitialized data from a stack based buffer to theserver. Therefore potentially revealing sensitive internal information to theserver using a clear-text network protocol. This could happen because curl did not call and use sscanf() correctly whenparsing the string provided by the application.
CVE-2021-22884 5 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Nodejs and 2 more 13 Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager, E-series Performance Analyzer and 10 more 2024-11-21 5.1 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Node.js before 10.24.0, 12.21.0, 14.16.0, and 15.10.0 is vulnerable to DNS rebinding attacks as the whitelist includes “localhost6”. When “localhost6” is not present in /etc/hosts, it is just an ordinary domain that is resolved via DNS, i.e., over network. If the attacker controls the victim's DNS server or can spoof its responses, the DNS rebinding protection can be bypassed by using the “localhost6” domain. As long as the attacker uses the “localhost6” domain, they can still apply the attack described in CVE-2018-7160.
CVE-2021-22883 5 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Nodejs and 2 more 9 Fedora, E-series Performance Analyzer, Node.js and 6 more 2024-11-21 7.8 HIGH 7.5 HIGH
Node.js before 10.24.0, 12.21.0, 14.16.0, and 15.10.0 is vulnerable to a denial of service attack when too many connection attempts with an 'unknownProtocol' are established. This leads to a leak of file descriptors. If a file descriptor limit is configured on the system, then the server is unable to accept new connections and prevent the process also from opening, e.g. a file. If no file descriptor limit is configured, then this lead to an excessive memory usage and cause the system to run out of memory.
CVE-2020-9488 4 Apache, Debian, Oracle and 1 more 46 Log4j, Debian Linux, Communications Application Session Controller and 43 more 2024-11-21 4.3 MEDIUM 3.7 LOW
Improper validation of certificate with host mismatch in Apache Log4j SMTP appender. This could allow an SMTPS connection to be intercepted by a man-in-the-middle attack which could leak any log messages sent through that appender. Fixed in Apache Log4j 2.12.3 and 2.13.1
CVE-2020-9281 4 Ckeditor, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 1 more 11 Ckeditor, Drupal, Fedora and 8 more 2024-11-21 4.3 MEDIUM 6.1 MEDIUM
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the HTML Data Processor for CKEditor 4.0 before 4.14 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script through a crafted "protected" comment (with the cke_protected syntax).
CVE-2020-8908 4 Google, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more 13 Guava, Active Iq Unified Manager, Commerce Guided Search and 10 more 2024-11-21 2.1 LOW 3.3 LOW
A temp directory creation vulnerability exists in all versions of Guava, allowing an attacker with access to the machine to potentially access data in a temporary directory created by the Guava API com.google.common.io.Files.createTempDir(). By default, on unix-like systems, the created directory is world-readable (readable by an attacker with access to the system). The method in question has been marked @Deprecated in versions 30.0 and later and should not be used. For Android developers, we recommend choosing a temporary directory API provided by Android, such as context.getCacheDir(). For other Java developers, we recommend migrating to the Java 7 API java.nio.file.Files.createTempDirectory() which explicitly configures permissions of 700, or configuring the Java runtime's java.io.tmpdir system property to point to a location whose permissions are appropriately configured.
CVE-2020-8286 8 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 20 Mac Os X, Macos, Debian Linux and 17 more 2024-11-21 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
curl 7.41.0 through 7.73.0 is vulnerable to an improper check for certificate revocation due to insufficient verification of the OCSP response.
CVE-2020-8285 9 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more 30 Mac Os X, Macos, Debian Linux and 27 more 2024-11-21 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
curl 7.21.0 to and including 7.73.0 is vulnerable to uncontrolled recursion due to a stack overflow issue in FTP wildcard match parsing.
CVE-2020-8284 9 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more 29 Mac Os X, Macos, Debian Linux and 26 more 2024-11-21 4.3 MEDIUM 3.7 LOW
A malicious server can use the FTP PASV response to trick curl 7.73.0 and earlier into connecting back to a given IP address and port, and this way potentially make curl extract information about services that are otherwise private and not disclosed, for example doing port scanning and service banner extractions.
CVE-2020-8203 2 Lodash, Oracle 18 Lodash, Banking Corporate Lending Process Management, Banking Credit Facilities Process Management and 15 more 2024-11-21 5.8 MEDIUM 7.4 HIGH
Prototype pollution attack when using _.zipObjectDeep in lodash before 4.17.20.
