python-gnupg 0.4.3 allows context-dependent attackers to trick gnupg to decrypt other ciphertext than intended. To perform the attack, the passphrase to gnupg must be controlled by the adversary and the ciphertext should be trusted. Related to a "CWE-20: Improper Input Validation" issue affecting the affect functionality component.
CVE-2019-6454 | 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 22 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 19 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.9 MEDIUM | 5.5 MEDIUM |
An issue was discovered in sd-bus in systemd 239. bus_process_object() in libsystemd/sd-bus/bus-objects.c allocates a variable-length stack buffer for temporarily storing the object path of incoming D-Bus messages. An unprivileged local user can exploit this by sending a specially crafted message to PID1, causing the stack pointer to jump over the stack guard pages into an unmapped memory region and trigger a denial of service (systemd PID1 crash and kernel panic).
CVE-2019-6251 | 6 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Gnome and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Epiphany and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |
WebKitGTK and WPE WebKit prior to version 2.24.1 are vulnerable to address bar spoofing upon certain JavaScript redirections. An attacker could cause malicious web content to be displayed as if for a trusted URI. This is similar to the CVE-2018-8383 issue in Microsoft Edge.
CVE-2019-6215 | 3 Apple, Canonical, Microsoft | 8 Icloud, Iphone Os, Itunes and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |

CVE-2019-6212 | 3 Apple, Canonical, Microsoft | 7 Icloud, Iphone Os, Itunes and 4 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
Multiple memory corruption issues were addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in iOS 12.1.3, tvOS 12.1.2, Safari 12.0.3, iTunes 12.9.3 for Windows, iCloud for Windows 7.10. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2019-6133 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Polkit Project and 1 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Polkit and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.4 MEDIUM | 6.7 MEDIUM |
In PolicyKit (aka polkit) 0.115, the "start time" protection mechanism can be bypassed because fork() is not atomic, and therefore authorization decisions are improperly cached. This is related to lack of uid checking in polkitbackend/polkitbackendinteractiveauthority.c.
CVE-2019-6128 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Libtiff and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libtiff and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |

CVE-2019-6116 | 6 Artifex, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 11 Ghostscript, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 8 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
In Artifex Ghostscript through 9.26, ephemeral or transient procedures can allow access to system operators, leading to remote code execution.
CVE-2019-6111 | 10 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 7 more | 27 Mina Sshd, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 24 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to the scp implementation being derived from 1983 rcp, the server chooses which files/directories are sent to the client. However, the scp client only performs cursory validation of the object name returned (only directory traversal attacks are prevented). A malicious scp server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can overwrite arbitrary files in the scp client target directory. If recursive operation (-r) is performed, the server can manipulate subdirectories as well (for example, to overwrite the .ssh/authorized_keys file).
CVE-2019-6109 | 9 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more | 28 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 25 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 6.8 MEDIUM |
An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to missing character encoding in the progress display, a malicious server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can employ crafted object names to manipulate the client output, e.g., by using ANSI control codes to hide additional files being transferred. This affects refresh_progress_meter() in progressmeter.c.
CVE-2019-5882 | 2 Canonical, Irssi | 2 Ubuntu Linux, Irssi | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |

Lack of correct bounds checking in Skia in Google Chrome prior to 73.0.3683.75 allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory read via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2019-5736 | 13 Apache, Canonical, D2iq and 10 more | 19 Mesos, Ubuntu Linux, Dc\/os and 16 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.3 HIGH | 8.6 HIGH |
runc through 1.0-rc6, as used in Docker before 18.09.2 and other products, allows attackers to overwrite the host runc binary (and consequently obtain host root access) by leveraging the ability to execute a command as root within one of these types of containers: (1) a new container with an attacker-controlled image, or (2) an existing container, to which the attacker previously had write access, that can be attached with docker exec. This occurs because of file-descriptor mishandling, related to /proc/self/exe.
CVE-2019-5477 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Nokogiri | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Nokogiri | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
A command injection vulnerability in Nokogiri v1.10.3 and earlier allows commands to be executed in a subprocess via Ruby's `Kernel.open` method. Processes are vulnerable only if the undocumented method `Nokogiri::CSS::Tokenizer#load_file` is being called with unsafe user input as the filename. This vulnerability appears in code generated by the Rexical gem versions v1.0.6 and earlier. Rexical is used by Nokogiri to generate lexical scanner code for parsing CSS queries. The underlying vulnerability was addressed in Rexical v1.0.7 and Nokogiri upgraded to this version of Rexical in Nokogiri v1.10.4. |
