CVE-2009-3875 3 Linux, Microsoft, Sun 6 Linux Kernel, Windows, Jdk and 3 more 2025-04-09 5.0 MEDIUM N/A
The MessageDigest.isEqual function in Java Runtime Environment (JRE) in Sun Java SE in JDK and JRE 5.0 before Update 22, JDK and JRE 6 before Update 17, SDK and JRE 1.3.x before 1.3.1_27, and SDK and JRE 1.4.x before 1.4.2_24 allows remote attackers to spoof HMAC-based digital signatures, and possibly bypass authentication, via unspecified vectors related to "timing attack vulnerabilities," aka Bug Id 6863503.
CVE-2007-4567 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-09 7.8 HIGH N/A
The ipv6_hop_jumbo function in net/ipv6/exthdrs.c in the Linux kernel before 2.6.22 does not properly validate the hop-by-hop IPv6 extended header, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and kernel panic) via a crafted IPv6 packet.
CVE-2009-1883 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-09 4.4 MEDIUM N/A
The z90crypt_unlocked_ioctl function in the z90crypt driver in the Linux kernel 2.6.9 does not perform a capability check for the Z90QUIESCE operation, which allows local users to leverage euid 0 privileges to force a driver outage.
CVE-2007-5337 3 Gnome, Linux, Mozilla 4 Gnome-vfs, Linux Kernel, Firefox and 1 more 2025-04-09 4.3 MEDIUM N/A
Mozilla Firefox before 2.0.0.8 and SeaMonkey before 1.1.5, when running on Linux systems with gnome-vfs support, might allow remote attackers to read arbitrary files on SSH/sftp servers that accept key authentication by creating a web page on the target server, in which the web page contains URIs with (1) smb: or (2) sftp: schemes that access other files from the server.
CVE-2022-4543 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A flaw named "EntryBleed" was found in the Linux Kernel Page Table Isolation (KPTI). This issue could allow a local attacker to leak KASLR base via prefetch side-channels based on TLB timing for Intel systems.
CVE-2024-27052 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 7.4 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: rtl8xxxu: add cancel_work_sync() for c2hcmd_work The workqueue might still be running, when the driver is stopped. To avoid a use-after-free, call cancel_work_sync() in rtl8xxxu_stop().
CVE-2024-27053 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: wilc1000: fix RCU usage in connect path With lockdep enabled, calls to the connect function from cfg802.11 layer lead to the following warning: ============================= WARNING: suspicious RCU usage 6.7.0-rc1-wt+ #333 Not tainted ----------------------------- drivers/net/wireless/microchip/wilc1000/hif.c:386 suspicious rcu_dereference_check() usage! Fix RCU dereference usage by moving it to a RCU read critical section. To avoid wrapping the whole wilc_parse_join_bss_param under the critical section, just use the critical section to copy ies data
CVE-2024-27058 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 4.7 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tmpfs: fix race on handling dquot rbtree A syzkaller reproducer found a race while attempting to remove dquot information from the rb tree. Fetching the rb_tree root node must also be protected by the dqopt->dqio_sem, otherwise, giving the right timing, shmem_release_dquot() will trigger a warning because it couldn't find a node in the tree, when the real reason was the root node changing before the search starts: Thread 1 Thread 2 - shmem_release_dquot() - shmem_{acquire,release}_dquot() - fetch ROOT - Fetch ROOT - acquire dqio_sem - wait dqio_sem - do something, triger a tree rebalance - release dqio_sem - acquire dqio_sem - start searching for the node, but from the wrong location, missing the node, and triggering a warning.
CVE-2024-27062 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nouveau: lock the client object tree. It appears the client object tree has no locking unless I've missed something else. CVE-2024-27072 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: usbtv: Remove useless locks in usbtv_video_free() Remove locks calls in usbtv_video_free() because are useless and may led to a deadlock as reported here: https://syzkaller.appspot.com/x/bisect.txt?x=166dc872180000 Also remove usbtv_stop() call since it will be called when unregistering the device. Before 'c838530d230b' this issue would only be noticed if you disconnect while streaming and now it is noticeable even when disconnecting while not streaming. [hverkuil: fix minor spelling mistake in log message]
CVE-2024-27393 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen-netfront: Add missing skb_mark_for_recycle Notice that skb_mark_for_recycle() is introduced later than fixes tag in commit 6a5bcd84e886 ("page_pool: Allow drivers to hint on SKB recycling"). It is believed that fixes tag were missing a call to page_pool_release_page() between v5.9 to v5.14, after which is should have used skb_mark_for_recycle(). Since v6.6 the call page_pool_release_page() were removed (in commit 535b9c61bdef ("net: page_pool: hide page_pool_release_page()") and remaining callers converted (in commit 6bfef2ec0172 ("Merge branch 'net-page_pool-remove-page_pool_release_page'")). This leak became visible in v6.8 via commit dba1b8a7ab68 ("mm/page_pool: catch page_pool memory leaks").
CVE-2024-27394 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 7.4 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: Fix Use-After-Free in tcp_ao_connect_init Since call_rcu, which is called in the hlist_for_each_entry_rcu traversal of tcp_ao_connect_init, is not part of the RCU read critical section, it is possible that the RCU grace period will pass during the traversal and the key will be free. To prevent this, it should be changed to hlist_for_each_entry_safe.
CVE-2024-26648 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Fix variable deferencing before NULL check in edp_setup_replay() In edp_setup_replay(), 'struct dc *dc' & 'struct dmub_replay *replay' was dereferenced before the pointer 'link' & 'replay' NULL check. Fixes the below: drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/../display/dc/link/protocols/link_edp_panel_control.c:947 edp_setup_replay() warn: variable dereferenced before check 'link' (see line 933)
CVE-2024-26652 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 4.1 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: pds_core: Fix possible double free in error handling path When auxiliary_device_add() returns error and then calls auxiliary_device_uninit(), Callback function pdsc_auxbus_dev_release calls kfree(padev) to free memory. We shouldn't call kfree(padev) again in the error handling path. Fix this by cleaning up the redundant kfree() and putting the error handling back to where the errors happened.
CVE-2023-52629 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 8.4 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sh: push-switch: Reorder cleanup operations to avoid use-after-free bug The original code puts flush_work() before timer_shutdown_sync() in switch_drv_remove(). Although we use flush_work() to stop the worker, it could be rescheduled in switch_timer(). As a result, a use-after-free bug can occur. The details are shown below: (cpu 0) | (cpu 1) switch_drv_remove() | flush_work() | ... | switch_timer // timer | schedule_work(&psw->work) timer_shutdown_sync() | ... | switch_work_handler // worker kfree(psw) // free | | psw->state = 0 // use This patch puts timer_shutdown_sync() before flush_work() to mitigate the bugs. As a result, the worker and timer will be stopped safely before the deallocate operations.
CVE-2023-52631 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: Fix an NULL dereference bug The issue here is when this is called from ntfs_load_attr_list(). The "size" comes from le32_to_cpu(attr->res.data_size) so it can't overflow on a 64bit systems but on 32bit systems the "+ 1023" can overflow and the result is zero. This means that the kmalloc will succeed by returning the ZERO_SIZE_PTR and then the memcpy() will crash with an Oops on the next line.
CVE-2024-26661 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Add NULL test for 'timing generator' in 'dcn21_set_pipe()' In "u32 otg_inst = pipe_ctx->stream_res.tg->inst;" pipe_ctx->stream_res.tg could be NULL, it is relying on the caller to ensure the tg is not NULL.
CVE-2024-26662 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Fix 'panel_cntl' could be null in 'dcn21_set_backlight_level()' 'panel_cntl' structure used to control the display panel could be null, dereferencing it could lead to a null pointer access. Fixes the below: drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/../display/dc/hwss/dcn21/dcn21_hwseq.c:269 dcn21_set_backlight_level() error: we previously assumed 'panel_cntl' could be null (see line 250)
CVE-2024-26666 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: fix RCU use in TDLS fast-xmit This looks up the link under RCU protection, but isn't guaranteed to actually have protection. Fix that.
CVE-2024-26672 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-08 N/A 7.1 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: Fix variable 'mca_funcs' dereferenced before NULL check in 'amdgpu_mca_smu_get_mca_entry()' Fixes the below: drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/amdgpu_mca.c:377 amdgpu_mca_smu_get_mca_entry() warn: variable dereferenced before check 'mca_funcs' (see line 368) 357 int amdgpu_mca_smu_get_mca_entry(struct amdgpu_device *adev, enum amdgpu_mca_error_type type, 358 int idx, struct mca_bank_entry *entry) 359 { 360 const struct amdgpu_mca_smu_funcs *mca_funcs = adev->mca.mca_funcs; 361 int count; 362 363 switch (type) { 364 case AMDGPU_MCA_ERROR_TYPE_UE: 365 count = mca_funcs->max_ue_count; mca_funcs is dereferenced here. 366 break; 367 case AMDGPU_MCA_ERROR_TYPE_CE: 368 count = mca_funcs->max_ce_count; mca_funcs is dereferenced here. 369 break; 370 default: 371 return -EINVAL; 372 } 373 374 if (idx >= count) 375 return -EINVAL; 376 377 if (mca_funcs && mca_funcs->mca_get_mca_entry) ^^^^^^^^^ Checked too late!
