popd in bash might allow local users to bypass the restricted shell and cause a use-after-free via a crafted address.
CVE-2025-0781 | 2 Debian, Flightgear | 2 Debian Linux, Simgear | 2025-08-06 | N/A | 8.6 HIGH |
An attacker can bypass the sandboxing of Nasal scripts and arbitrarily write to any file path that the user has permission to modify at the operating-system level.
CVE-2014-7210 | 1 Debian | 2 Debian Linux, Pdns | 2025-08-06 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
pdns specific as packaged in Debian in version before 3.3.1-1 creates a too privileged MySQL user. It was discovered that the maintainer scripts of pdns-backend-mysql grant too wide database permissions for the pdns user. Other backends are not affected.
CVE-2023-6816 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 1 more | 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 4 more | 2025-08-04 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
A flaw was found in X.Org server. Both DeviceFocusEvent and the XIQueryPointer reply contain a bit for each logical button currently down. Buttons can be arbitrarily mapped to any value up to 255, but the X.Org Server was only allocating space for the device's particular number of buttons, leading to a heap overflow if a bigger value was used.
CVE-2023-6478 | 4 Debian, Redhat, Tigervnc and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 3 more | 2025-08-04 | N/A | 7.6 HIGH |
A flaw was found in xorg-server. A specially crafted request to RRChangeProviderProperty or RRChangeOutputProperty can trigger an integer overflow which may lead to a disclosure of sensitive information.
CVE-2023-5367 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 1 more | 12 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 9 more | 2025-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
A out-of-bounds write flaw was found in the xorg-x11-server. This issue occurs due to an incorrect calculation of a buffer offset when copying data stored in the heap in the XIChangeDeviceProperty function in Xi/xiproperty.c and in RRChangeOutputProperty function in randr/rrproperty.c, allowing for possible escalation of privileges or denial of service.
CVE-2023-31122 | 3 Apache, Debian, Fedoraproject | 3 Http Server, Debian Linux, Fedora | 2025-08-01 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
Out-of-bounds Read vulnerability in mod_macro of Apache HTTP Server. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: through 2.4.57.
CVE-2024-33601 | 3 Debian, Gnu, Netapp | 20 Debian Linux, Glibc, H300s and 17 more | 2025-08-01 | N/A | 7.3 HIGH |
nscd: netgroup cache may terminate daemon on memory allocation failure The Name Service Cache Daemon's (nscd) netgroup cache uses xmalloc or xrealloc and these functions may terminate the process due to a memory allocation failure resulting in a denial of service to the clients. The flaw was introduced in glibc 2.15 when the cache was added to nscd. This vulnerability is only present in the nscd binary.
CVE-2024-8096 | 3 Debian, Haxx, Netapp | 15 Debian Linux, Curl, Active Iq Unified Manager and 12 more | 2025-07-30 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
When curl is told to use the Certificate Status Request TLS extension, often referred to as OCSP stapling, to verify that the server certificate is valid, it might fail to detect some OCSP problems and instead wrongly consider the response as fine. If the returned status reports another error than 'revoked' (like for example 'unauthorized') it is not treated as a bad certficate.
CVE-2020-16009 | 6 Cefsharp, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 8 Cefsharp, Debian Linux, Fedora and 5 more | 2025-07-30 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
Inappropriate implementation in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 86.0.4240.183 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2025-0838 | 2 Abseil, Debian | 2 Common Libraries, Debian Linux | 2025-07-30 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
There exists a heap buffer overflow vulnerable in Abseil-cpp. The sized constructors, reserve(), and rehash() methods of absl::{flat,node}hash{set,map} did not impose an upper bound on their size argument. As a result, it was possible for a caller to pass a very large size that would cause an integer overflow when computing the size of the container's backing store, and a subsequent out-of-bounds memory write. Subsequent accesses to the container might also access out-of-bounds memory. We recommend upgrading past commit 5a0e2cb5e3958dd90bb8569a2766622cb74d90c1
CVE-2025-3891 | 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat | 3 Http Server, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux | 2025-07-28 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
A flaw was found in the mod_auth_openidc module for Apache httpd. This flaw allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to trigger a denial of service by sending an empty POST request when the OIDCPreservePost directive is enabled. The server crashes consistently, affecting availability.
CVE-2024-5197 | 2 Debian, Webmproject | 2 Debian Linux, Libvpx | 2025-07-22 | N/A | 9.1 CRITICAL |
There exists interger overflows in libvpx in versions prior to 1.14.1. Calling vpx_img_alloc() with a large value of the d_w, d_h, or align parameter may result in integer overflows in the calculations of buffer sizes and offsets and some fields of the returned vpx_image_t struct may be invalid. Calling vpx_img_wrap() with a large value of the d_w, d_h, or stride_align parameter may result in integer overflows in the calculations of buffer sizes and offsets and some fields of the returned vpx_image_t struct may be invalid. We recommend upgrading to version 1.14.1 or beyond

BTRFS: error (device vdc: state EA) in cleanup_transaction:2055: errno=-2 No such entry This happens because create_pending_snapshot() initializes the new root item as a copy of the source root item. This includes the refs field, which is 0 for a deleted subvolume. The call to btrfs_insert_root() therefore inserts a root with refs == 0. btrfs_get_new_fs_root() then finds the root and returns -ENOENT if refs == 0, which causes create_pending_snapshot() to abort. Fix it by checking the source root's refs before attempting the snapshot, but after locking subvol_sem to avoid racing with deletion.
CVE-2024-46901 | 2 Apache, Debian | 2 Subversion, Debian Linux | 2025-07-15 | N/A | 3.1 LOW |
